Why Bowen

Wondering how I came to choose Bowen?

I had longstanding back pain, a frozen shoulder, arm, elbow and hand pain.   Physiotherapy had failed to bring any change.   A friend of mine recommended Bowen treatment.   I went for three treatments.   These were very gentle and non-invasive
and very relaxing.   I found that the treatments slowly let the pains melt away.   After about 6 weeks the pain had disappeared and virtually normal movement had returned.

I was delighted and I decided to become a Bowen Practitioner myself.   My Bowen training has been with the European College of Bowen Studies.  I am a member of the Bowen Therapists European Register and the Natural.  This means I am a certified Bowen Practitioner, have the VTCT Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology and, in addition, am
fully insured.   This membership implies I am committed to continued professional development and adhere to a professional code of conduct.

Additionally, I am registered with The Natural and Complementary Health Council.

Apart from this I hold degrees in Social Work and Teaching and I am a sculptor.   My previous career background is in teaching [kindergarten, primary school and mentally handicapped].
